Class Types
Welton Wellness Yoga
Welton Wellness Yoga is a Hatha Yoga Class that takes place in Welton Village Hall on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings.
This 60 minute class is designed to teach you the ins and outs of yoga, offer you a different theme to consider each week for your personal growth, and take you on a journey from breathwork and asana (posture) practice to relaxation time. Not only this, but it brings you together with people from the local community and is always a fun and friendly place to be. You will soon see progression if you make a yoga class part of your life.
You just need to wear comfortable clothes you can easily move in, bring along a yoga mat if you have one and a bottle of water.
Thursdays 7.15pm to 8.15pm
Fridays 9.30am to 10.30am
Private Classes
One-on-one or small group
A private class may suit you if you have individual requirements for your yoga practice. You may be limited on time, or have something you’d particularly like to address – such as dealing with an injury or condition, or if you’re suffering from anxiety or stress. I will design each individual session for your particular needs, ensuring you are making the most of your practice time and making progress as we go.
Private Classes can be for individuals or for small groups. They can take place in your home, or I can organise a space if you prefer. Prices start at £45 per hour.
I have time available during the day or on some evenings.
OUTDOOR YOGA
My favourite place to be! During the summer months I run outdoor classes in various locations around Daventry.
Alpaca Yoga takes place at the beautiful Hideaway Wood Farm near Dodford, where we join the alpacas in their field for a yoga practice – they often come and say hello!
I also take yoga into the great outdoors at Bragborough Hall Business Centre near Braunston, just outside Daventry. These lunchtime classes are a perfect opportunity to take a break from your workplace and enjoy some fresh air.
YOGA for seniors
Senior Yoga classes are designed for those that are looking for a yoga experience with a gentler pace, with little or no moving up and down from the floor. More props are used for support and the focus is on moving slowly but still building strength and increasing flexibility. It’s never to late to try something new.
